Preference also purchases a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous scraps as part of our integrated service to customers.

Ferrous scraps include large, mainly low value scrap such as structural steelwork, ships, industrial plant, vehicle shells, and ‘white goods’ casings as well as broken cast iron.

Non-ferrous scraps range from scrap products containing metals of higher

value such as brass, copper, zinc, lead, aluminium etc. including non-magnetic stainless steels.

Intensive technology investments have been put in to ensure that such wastes are properly recycled or disposed according to safety standards. Our extensive collection and processing facilities entail the blending of scrap mixes to secondary customers’ precise specifications.
